• With the upcoming insolvency of Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, serious reform will need to be considered in order to sustain these programs without privatizing them.
2. I encourage decreased dependence upon the federal government for food, clothing, and housing. There needs to be a new push towards faith based or non profit organizations to become involved in caring for those in need
3. I oppose any mandatory national health care system.
4. I oppose publically funded medical care for illegal aliens.
5. Any tax breaks that are made available to businesses in health care should also be made available to everyday citizens.
6. I support allowing Health Savings Accounts to be funded by all individuals no matter what type of insurance or lack of insurance that they may carry.
7. I support insurance portability, coverage of pre-existing conditions through high-risk pools, and access to interstate insurance plans.
8. I support medical malpractice reform to help off-set the rising cost of health care
9. I believe that in order to receive social security benefits, which is to include SSI one must have paid in for a minimum of 35 quarters and must be a citizen of the United States.
